WSA Exhibition at the prestigious New Art Gallery Walsall

’72 Not Out Exhibition’

I am proud to say that I have three pieces of work selected for the Walsall Society of Artists exhibition at the prestigious New Art Gallery Walsall. Entitled, ’72 Not Out!’ and opening on Friday 22nd October 21 and running until Sunday November 28th, it really is worth a visit AND admission is absolutely free.

It is an absolute privilege to be showing my art within the same four walls as greats such as Picasso, Braque, Constable, Degas, Matisse, Monet, Manet, Van Gogh, Freud, Turner and countless others.

We enjoyed a good turn-out (and a few glasses of red wine) at the preview event on the evening of Thursday 21st October, and we met some amazing people. None less than the supremely talented Wayne Attwood – President of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA), who was kind enough to offer some constructive critique of my three pieces of work in the exhibition. His wise words will stay with me and inspire me. Although his style of work is radically different to my own, he really did give me food for thought, and made me think about how I am approaching my art.

Featured in the local Express & Star newspaper. I EVEN got myself in print!

As I say, it really IS worth a visit and there are some fabulous artworks on display, and of course… most of them are available to purchase. There really is a fantastic local pool of talent.
