Steve is available for demonstrations and workshops for art groups and societies, work places, schools and clubs.
Steve will share with your group many of the techniques he employs to create his own unique style of abstract and cubist art. He will talk about his journey so far as an artist, and what drives him to create the work that he does. What his influences and inspirations are. Set up with a camera directly above his canvas, Steve creates an artwork from nothing, in front of your eyes, and displayed on a large screen.
Steve doesn’t use any reference material for his demonstration and instead, produces an original piece of artwork, directly from his own imagination – using a variety of mediums and materials – ‘Whatever feels right at the time’.

“On behalf of WSA (Walsall Society of Artists) very many thanks for your demonstration. From the stream of questions being asked and the comments I heard, there is no doubt that the evening was really successful. Your genre doesn’t figure widely in the club scene, and so it was a refreshing change from what we normally see. You worked in several different materials and techniques to show the potential in what you are doing, and with every decision you made, you explained the thought process behind it, which is important to those looking on.
As I said in my vote of thanks, to build up a work from scratch with no reference material or anything to guide you is a gift that few possess, and the piece that you produced in so short a time was excellent. So once again many thanks, Steve” – David McGuire. Chairman of the Walsall Society of Artists
Steve will share with your group many of the techniques he employs to create his own unique style of abstract and cubist art. Participants will receive tuition from Steve and personal guidance and encouragement. It is an opportunity to paint along with Steve, but you will also be encouraged to follow your own sense of freedom to create your very own Cubist and Abstract masterpiece.
Steve provides the majority of materials you will need, and when visiting one of Steve’s local workshops, he will also provide endless tea, coffee and some snacks too.
