From the original Artwork entitled, ‘The Empty Chair‘.
This artwork was painted in heavy bodied acrylics on canvas board. It follows a very simple sketch by the artist, of the same name. The original sketch came about when the artist was struggling through a bout of depression and the chair symbolised his struggle and helped him to come through what was a difficult time. He then decided, a few days later, to recreate the image that had helped him, in acrylics.
This images means an awful lot to the artist.
This very high quality Giclee print is created on 310 gsm museum grade art paper and beautifully mounted in a conservation grade mount, which really brings out the best of the artwork, and fits perfectly in to a 16″ x 12″ frame.
