This is a unique and original, one-off artwork. One of a pair and also part of an on-going body of larger artworks.
‘Always Tomorrow‘ is created in mixed media (including acrylic and emulsion) on a 1000 x 500mm canvas. Paired with ‘The Last One’.
This piece wasn’t created from still life. It came entirely from my own imagination, with a few nods to the Purism Art Movement of the 1920’s and in particular, Roy Lichtenstein’s own later take on Purism. This painting was created directly after the first pair of paintings in the same body of work. I wanted to directly oppose the colour palette of those first works, and also work with different shaped canvas (keeping the 1000mm height). This painting is paired with ‘The Last One’.
To confirm, although this artwork forms part of a ‘pair’, the above price is for ‘Always Tomorrow’ only. ‘The Last One’ is sold separately.
