‘Recoiled II‘ – Created using fine liner pens and graphite pencil.
Drawn entirely by hand using fine liner pens, initially. Once all the detail has been laid down the artist uses a soft graphite pencil and blending stump to create the depth and shadow.
This amazing artwork is made up of one continuous form that starts (or ends) in the very centre of the canvas. Taking on an almost organic appearance, it seems to wriggle and move beneath your gaze. This would be the second in a trilogy of ‘Recoiled’ artworks.
Mounted in black, with a beautifully handmade black wooden frame – really sets this stunning and unusual artwork off perfectly.
