The original Artwork entitled ‘Metallic’ – created using metallic acrylic paint pens and archival ink fine liners.
Having left school in late 1980’s, I began my working life at the time of the great demise of the once world-renowned British industry.
‘Metallic’ depicts my sense of sadness at the loss of the great machines and engines of the Country’s industrial past… painted in a rusty and corroded colour palette to represent the decay. It remains one of my favourite pieces of my work, to this day.
