The original of ‘Always Tomorrow‘ was created in mixed media (including acrylic and emulsion) on a 1000 x 500mm canvas. Paired with ‘The Last One’.
This piece wasn’t created from still life. It came entirely from my own imagination, with a few nods to the Purism Art Movement of the 1920’s and in particular, Roy Lichtenstein’s own later take on Purism. This painting was created directly after the first pair of paintings in the same body of work. I wanted to directly oppose the colour palette of those first works, and also work with different shaped canvas (keeping the 1000mm height). This painting is paired with ‘The Last One’.
This is a high quality Giclee print, taken directly from my original artwork. High quality paint pigments are sprayed on to the surface of the 300gsm museum grade art paper. This is them presented in a superb, conservation grade mount and backboard. (Outer dimensions of the mount are approximately 865 x 490mm)
To confirm, although this artwork forms part of a ‘pair’, the above price is for a Giclée Print of ‘Always Tomorrow’ only. ‘The Last One’ is sold separately.
